Wimborne Newborn Photography - Welcoming Little Baby Raef

It's such a pleasure and a privilege to be one of the first people who get to meet and hold these brand new tiny people! Because newborn photography yields the best results withing the first 14 days, often I'm getting to meet babies who still haven't met some of their family members if they're having to travel to see them. It never stops feeling special to me. Baby Raef was a total pleasure to photograph. Hi mummy asked for recommendations for a newborn photography locally, and very kindly, some of my past clients mentioned my name to her and she gave me a call. When we started speaking, we worked out that she and I lived across the lane from one another! I can see her front door from my bedroom window! They do day it's a small world, but Wimborne is quite a small place I guess, and it was bound to happen sooner or later that a lady in my lane gave birth to a new baby and googled "Wimborn/Colehill Baby Photographer!" or asked on Facebook.

Raef's big brother was photographed as a newborn in a cute little bucket with a cuddly toy. The image is displayed proudly in his living room and it's gorgeous. I wanted to try and recreate a similar image with the newest family addition - and not only was baby Raef super obliging, he even cracked a windy smile for me to add the cherry on top of the cake! What a little legend. One to cherish for mummy and daddy, for sure!

Siblings under the age of three can be very tricky to photograph with their new baby brother or sister. I have lots of tried and tested tricks I use to convince/coerce/bribe toddlers into sitting still for a few moments. In this case, mummy came to the rescue with a bowl of Easter Egg chocolate! Total win! Can't wait to watch these brothers grow up on the other side of the lane.
